Record-breaking level 3 results for Exeter and North Devon Colleges Group

Exeter and North Devon Colleges Group (ENDC) has marked its first Level 3 Results Day since the merger, with learners at Exeter College and North Devon College achieving above-national-average results in A Level, T Level and vocational courses.

Across the two colleges, thousands of young people received their Level 3 results, marking the culmination of their further education studies. Many will now progress to higher education, employment or an apprenticeship.

Exeter College learners achieved a stunning record A Level pass rate of 99.67%, above the national average of 97.89%. A total of 89% of learners achieved A*-C grades, 10% above the national average. At North Devon College, learners celebrated exceptionally strong T Level results, with 96.77% of learners passing their course, above the national average. More than a third of T Level learners achieved the highest possible grades of Distinction* or Distinction, close to double the national average of 18.1%. Learners were invited to celebration events in Exeter and Barnstaple, where they marked their achievements with teachers, families and friends.

The Group was formed with a mission to create a regional powerhouse for young people and skills, and has the vision of becoming an exceptional college group. Through new developments and investment commitments, ENDC is expanding learning opportunities across Exeter and North Devon while helping employers develop the talent they need.

Both colleges offer a mix of academic and vocational programmes for young people, including A Levels, T Levels, V Levels, BTECs and apprenticeships. This year’s results reflect the determination of learners at both colleges, alongside the teaching and support they received while preparing for exams and their future careers.

Exeter College has become an exceptional destination for academic learning in the South West, with students securing places at top universities and higher education providers across the UK. Zak Flanagan studied A Levels in Maths, Physics and Geography at Exeter and received three A*s and will be going on to study Earth Science at Oxford. Zak said:

“I’m really, really happy. My results were exactly what I wanted, so I’m really pleased. It takes a lot of hard work throughout the year, so now opening the results feels like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders. To be able to get three A stars is absolutely amazing!

“The teachers here really make use of the time, and they really help you outside of lessons with guided work and what you actually should be doing at home. There’s a really clear sort of standard of what you need to be doing outside a lesson. In lessons, the teaching is great, and there are some really amazing teachers.”

North Devon College T Level learners achieved exceptional outcomes across the 2025/26 academic year. This includes Education & Childcare learner Abigail May, who achieved a Distinction and has secured a highly competitive place at Norland Nanny Training and Employment Agency to continue her studies and pursue her ambition of becoming a professional nanny. Abigail said:

“Doing this course made me realise I have a real passion for childcare and confirmed that this is what I want to do as a career. I’m so thankful for the support I received at college, particularly from my tutor and lecturers, who gave me the confidence to aim for this opportunity. I’m excited and nervous about what comes next, but I can’t wait to start at Norland.”
